MO-16E1-GE - the multiplexer intended for data transmission of the Gigabit Ethernet network and eight/sixteen streams of E1 on the optical channel which speed makes 1,25gbit/page. The general capacity of streams of E1 in the optical channel makes 88 streams. The device is ADM (Add Drop Multiplexer) the multiplexer and has a possibility of input-output of streams of E1 on any network knot. Not used streams are switched between two optical ports for transfer to the following knots to networks. Switching of E1 is carried out in the multiplexer at the level of E1 streams. The multiplexer supports such network topology as "point-to-point", "point-to-point" with reservation, "chain", "ring". The maximum number of multiplexers in "chain" or "ring" - 32 knots. The traffic of Gigabit Ethernet and E1 streams are protected from failure of the optical channel in topology "ring" and "point-to-point" with reservation.
